Idea for a reality based movie
I have an idea for a reality based movie.What exactly do I need to do to own the rights to it?I want to be able to shop my idea around to different producers without fear of it being stolen.The format of this movie is based on the popular t.v. show american idol.It involves random participants and judging just like american idol,but the participants are judged on something entirely different.It would be obvious that this movie is paralleled to american idol in format.I call it a movie because it would'nt be able to be aired on t.v. due to some of the content.It would have to be sold in dvd form.

You can try to get them to sign a confidentiality agreement.
Some will not sign because they have their own similar ideas already they may fear. But some will sign. |
