Hi

I left a company recently, by mistake I have few company documents soft copies with me.
How can I destroy them and declare that I do not posses any further company documents?

please advise me how to go about this.

You may send the company list of documents which you are having and which they must take by certain date. If however after giving reasonable notice they do not take documents then you can treat it as abandoned. If you intend to destroy the documents without informing company or anyone then if at a later stage if it is proved that documents were destroyed by you then you can be held liable.
