Final Notice to Cease And Desist -- Brand Name Jewelry, eBay

There are over 3,500 lia sophia items for sale in Ebay, so they must be all counterfeit! There are not made of real gold or silver... The advisor (which are not part of the company, are third party contractor making 20% of the sale, and a few more pennies...check www.npros.com) will tell you they are imported made in CHINA.

Lia Sophia is registered as a US trademark reg no 78810742. on the jewelry category.

All those letter headaches/threats/harassment from Lia Sophia are leaving a sour taste to many nice persons.

Turning over your privately own items and disclosing who you purchase can be incriminating. It takes a court order, (and getting an order cost money) specially if you are across the country or the world. But it is the accusation makes you feel like a criminal and you feel liek trash. It is the way is written.
Don't sell with the name Lia Sophia.....it is not worth it....don't buy it neither.

just received my first cease and desist order from lis sophia, saying they had bought a piece of my merchandise and QC had determined it was counterfeit. i have bought all my items in large lots on ebay. who would bother to counterfeit jewelry made in china? why come after small sellers? if they do have a counterfeit problem, it is starting in china.

I am more than disgusted by lia and by the way eBay leaves sellers hung out to dry.

Luckily I have a good friend in law and he advised not to interact with them. The more you engage, the more they will engage. He agrees it is highly unlikely that they would file a federal lawsuit as they could be taken down for prohibiting us from reselling. Best to just let it go...and never buy from them again.
