Use of company name on Website?

Greetings:

I few years ago I had my own company which I parlyed into forming a larger company with two other men. On my OLD web site I used our new company name saying something to effect that Business Name A is now a part of Business Name B. I included a list of the new business's services, etc.

Now that I am no longer with Business Name B they're asking me to remove the name and services list from my original business Web site.

My question is, Do I have to remove any reference to the new business I co-founded although I'm no longer employed? Also, do I have to remove a list of the services? Having the newly formed business name listed can certainly help me gain clients (now that I'm back out on my own) as they are a reputable company. I've not said anything negative about them, nor do I wish to.

I'm in Oregon if that makes any difference.

You can list historical facts etc. but you should not try to refer to the business otherwise normally...it can get somewhat fact-specific what is allowed and what is not.
