copyright name question

Example:
There's a copyright on a plastic lion puppet called "Gogo Green". It's been already registered by another company since 1997, but I can't find it any pictures of it on the net.

Without knowing the name existed before, I made my own lion puppet called "Gogogreen" with a unique design that I really doubt that other company has.

My question:
Can I get a copyright on my own lion puppet name "Gogogreen"? or perhaps "Gogogreen Lion"?
Should I or can I get a trademark on "Gogogreen"?
Because I want to start selling my own puppets, but don't want the design and name of my lion puppet stolen.

if it is a formally filed copyright you will most likely not be allowed the name in the country you reside in and where they filed. If it is unfiled you have some chance but even then not great. I would suggest inventing another name.
