Copyright Claim: An Acquired Asset?
Thanks in advance for reading...
If Company A has a copyright claim against a failing business, Company B, and A notifies B, and B ceases and desists but does not agree to pay damages, and then before the matter is resolved, the B is "acquired" by another Company C- does the copyright claim liability transfer to Company C? As an example: VacationRoost Acquires Assets Of RDM/Moguls: Industry Chaos Avoided Resort Destination Marketing (Company B) is acquired by VacationRoost (Company C) If I have a copyright claim against RDM, does VacationRoost now have responsibility of handling the claim? |
