Is Ave Maria a copyrighted song?
"Ave Maria" (Bach/Gounod), a popular and much recorded aria by Charles Gounod, based on a piece by Bach.
Is it copyrighted? Or could I use it as a soundtrack for my own youtube video? Thank you for any advice! Michael |

You can use old versions of the song but cannot technically reproduce another artist's version of the song sung in the last few decades e.g.
