Ok, let's just call my site GamersAus.com
I found out there is a trademark called "Gamers Australia" Am I infringing on trademark? Thanks. |

I would not think so--it is a fairly generic term even if they have a trademark--it is still widely used in various version--so just make sure you dont purposely try to confuse your site with theirs.
Or you could get a professional opinion after a review of both sites etc. |

Hey, thanks for answering.
Isn't "Gamers Australia" a generic term though, I thought generic terms were not eligible for trademark registration. I'm not purposely trying to confuse my site with their site but they are both based on a similar or pretty well the same topic.
