Default Music contract question

I am a composer who signed a contract with a publisher in June 2006. My
publisher has done virtually nothing that the contract states. The contract
has been breeched several times. My question is: for the copyright to be
transferred from me to the publisher, should the contract state: composer
assigns to publisher the copyright, AND ALL OTHER INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
RIGHTS CONNECTED HERETO.? I have the part in caps that is not mentioned in
the contract. I was told this should be there in order for the transfer to
be valid. Thank you so much for your time
