Question about potential trademark similarities.
I'm about to start my own business and recently had a logo designed for me. The name is fine, but the first character an X may have a lot of similarities to the swoosh design from Nike. (Actually the yellow part) The business is going to be online and I'm uncertain if i face any risks. An illustration of the X is below.
http://www.arcadecentral.net/misc/logo.jpg It was not intended to be similar, but others pointed out when i was getting feedback. Should I have any reason to worry? Or should I just go back to the drawing board for a design. thnx, the w3b |

It does not look that similar to me.
But of course you could always ask Nike what they think. What business will you be in? Not sporting shoes I hope. |

No no, just a simple online electronics store. I only noticed it after a couple people made a reference that it was "similar" I have no intent as registering the "X" as a trademark it will just be included with the rest of the name of my company "Xnamehere" with the X having that design.
