TV program names copyrighted?

I would like to write a blog using television characters. Can I, for example, write a fiction based story using Lucy and Ethel from I LOVE LUCY interacting with Laura on THE DICK VAN DYKE SHOW. Would I have to use their real names, not the names on their TV shows, or possibly use names that sound close enough to their TV names. Can I use photos of the sets of these TV shows if the photos came from a private collector and I contributed the collector? Could I state, as a matter of fiction, that I am a neighbor to Laura and Dick on THE DICK VAN DYKE SHOW, and show a photo of their "TV" house?

You normally would need to get permission to use those images and names etc.--but it is quite possible to get that permission.
