Cease and desist letter from adidas America, Inc.

Thanks,I love the class action idea also.The problem I see with that is you would have to find a lawyer
with really big b**s.
The lawsuit would have to start with ebay as they have no right to turn over your personal information
to anyone.Then you would have to take on a lawfirm ,who I'm sure,no they are doing something illegal
and probably have people in their pocket to cover up any wrong doing.

I recieved 2 of their letters back in March and used then to help cover the floor when we painted.
Havn't heard from them since.

its a scam. they buy something from you, and use your address you send it from to send you the letter. i dont know how they are getting away with it, but i have heard its a phishing scam. thats why you never hear anything from them again if you ignore it. even if you look up the website, it looks legit. somehow they are getting away with it.

NHL.com states on their own website that their jerseys are made in CHINA and Indonesia!! We invested a significant amount of money into our jersey inventory because we were serious about making this a successful family business. We didn't jump into this blind....we were satisfied with our research and then went forward. Since being removed from eBay we have been bombarded with emails from customers asking us where we have gone and wanting to know if they can still buy from us because our jerseys are amazing quality at low prices. We also own jerseys that were bought directly from local sports stores like Sport Chek and authentic NHL stores....the quality is SH*T and have since returned the jerseys disgusted that these stores can sell an item for over $300.00 in their stores when they are only paying $35-$40 a piece for them from the manufacturers....they are ripping off the public!! No wonder they are pi**ed off when we come along with a superior product at a MUCH lower price. We contacted Reebok/Adidas Group to inquire about getting a license to sell their products without fear of being shut down. We were advised by them that we had to have a physical store front and not an online business. And then we were asked for our personal details.... EXCUSE ME? Why do you need our names and Canadian location if you can't license us?? We mentioned to our attorney about the possibility of a Class Action lawsuit against Adidas if enough people came forward about this scare tactic letter of harassment...... our Attorney was VERY amused and said he would love to see it happen. LOL!! I would like to say that my husband has calmed down in the past week but I would be lying......although he is over the initial fear of being sued, his concern has now changed to anger. He has no intention of meeting any of the cease and desist letter demands, he says they can kiss his white a**, he isn't giving them our remaining inventory to be destroyed or the names of our suppliers and he isn't sending them $1000 or signing the letter admitting to guilt and promising never to sell an Adidas product again. How about we have our own legal document done up telling Adidas that we demand to know who their suppliers are in Asia (under the freedom of information act) and to hand over their Sh*t quality inventory to us to be destroyed, and send us $1000 for being a pain in our a**es AND sign our letter admitting that they are guilty of robbing the general public by selling poor quality jerseys at outrageous mark up prices!!!
