Published picture of self - copyright case?
Hello. This is a rather small issue but if someone has the time I would like to be sure:
Case: Woman publish photo of herself on a public internet forum. It is an ordinary picture taken by herself of herself in the underwear. Nothing artistic or original to it. Then another guy takes this picture, add some text to it and repost it on another place viewable to the public. Now this woman is going hard on the guy, threatening with court, and sue, due to use of a "copyrighted" image. She is rather serious about it. Now, is this a copyright case, which could be taken to court? Or is it just (as i assume) just a question of moral? |

You normally cannot take and use her image if she objects.
It should be removed. |
