wants the car back

my husband and i went to a car dealership and they told us we were approved for a car. we signed all the paper work with the dealership and recieved a copy of the bill of sale. the next day we took the car to the insurance company and had insurance place on the vehicle. the next day the dealership calls and says they are sorry but we have to bring the car back or bring them more money down. what do we need to do?

This unfortunately is a common event and one that is unacceptable. Depending on what you signed you may fight it--and sue in small claims (even if the contract says otherwise)--you could argue they said it was a completed deal and you relied on it. Otherwise they must give you every dollar back and let you go to another dealer--
