New Ph Service Performance Ruined Business
Over two months ago I went with a VoIP phone service. They captured my main phone number and from that date until two weeks ago I have had nothing but problems. The majority of my customers could NOT reach me. Why some could and why most couldn't and those that could and those that couldn't changed daily and even hourly! I am a tour operator and we live and die by the phone. We just about died! When the phones were working properly I was getting a average of 5 to 20 calls a day.... when they went bad I was fortunate to get 5 to 10 a week. I'm now back to getting the normal call volume! The first two days my main phone number started working I made over 12K in reservations! I didnt do that kind of business in the two to three weeks before that! I called regularly to complain and was told they were working on it and would have it working soon and to some degree it would get better for awhile but never for long!!!
The three companies involved was Vocalocity my VoIP provider, Bandwidth the company Vocalocity said actually captured my number and Cyber Mesa the phone company who was to give up the number but still has it today! I was almost ruined and NO one will tell me what happened, why it happened, or what they are willing to do about it. They are all pointing fingers at the other one. Why didn't I go back to the original phone service I had.... I was told it would take for ever to do so since no one knew who had my number and that the number was digital and not analog or a land line number as it once was... i.e. I would be better off letting them fix the problem which they really never did until just a few weeks ago when I finally got Qwest involved to try to straighten it all out. I was really hurt financially and some one needs to answer for their incompetence. Please help me get compensation for what this has done to my business. It will take me a long time to recover from this if even I can!!
