Question do ad misprints have to be upheld?

this is more informational now since the company has already made the changes. what happened was i was looking for cars in the bazillions of search engines and i came across one that was an obvious misprint ( as it turns out a $26,000 misprint ) in the ad it stated the car was REDUCED in big bold letters with a price to good to be true. however the disclaimer only stated:

"Disclaimer
If you wish to view one of our vehicles in person please call to make an appointment. Thank you very much, we look forward to hearing from you!"

it made no mention of not being liable for ad misprints. so i was wondering had they not made the corrections could they have been legally liable to uphold the advertised price? or would i have just had to settled with a apology?

Default Re: do ad misprints have to be upheld?

Firms are not liable for obvious errors made in good faith. They cannot be forced to sell at the mistaken price.
