Default hotel services not available

I stayed in a hotel for 3 days at a cost of £225.
Advertised on it's website were a dining area and a bar. Neither were open due to staff shortages. Upon leaving I asked for reduction in the price but they refused and told me to leave immediately. I am willing to pay approx. £150 for service received. They are threatening to take me to court to retrieve full amount and will not negotiate.

Is it reasonable for me to ask for a price reduction?

They have taken full amount from my credit card (details I gave on booking) but I can get this refunded. are they allowed to take money against my permission?

You would have to argue those items were critical for you. And you should have alerted them when it was a problem--not at checkout.

Question Re: hotel services not available

You are being cheap and unreasonable. If you didn't have hot water or a bed in your room then you would have something to complain about. You sound like an amatuer traveler and should stay home.
