Here is what happened.
I was out at a gentlemen night club. My atm debit / check card was lost. This was not realized till the next morning. I became very very intoxicated. I do not remember what happened. The next morning when I woke up I went to pay bills and found that my card had been charged several different charges totaling more than $5000.00 - I did no longer have possession of my card. I have called my bank and told them I have lost my card and began fighting these charges - I did the police report. Now one thing about this whole situation scares me. The bank lady said if it was found that I did do these charges then I am liable and could be frauding. I can not remember I was that intoxicated. So 1 of 2 things happened I was either 1 taken advantage of or 2 dropped my card and someone else used it. Please help. Thanks. |

Take them to small claims if they will not reduce the bill. They cannot charge you if they have allowed you to become incoherent.
