He has spend probably around $1000 already. I have heard that they are supposedly bringing there high management people in to this meeting. If you want to talk to these theives I just gave you the place and time of their next meeting.

It's very disheartening to learn about this, as the representatives I met were all so young, nice, and good-looking. I seriously considered joining and almost attended one of their New York trips, but thankfully my parents strictly forbade me from going.

While reading through these comments however, I came to a rude awakening. The guys I were talking to, and one of the boys I still talk to (he is just sooo cute) embodies everything everybody else has been saying. For an example (I still talk to him even after I said no in the beginning) he's really into astrology, gives a lot of 'inspirational' talks and often says weird 'inspirational' quotes that he gets from his 'leaders', pretends to be affluent and values superficial materialism greatly, and he also tries to get me to attend those meetings a lot, saying things like, "You dont have to join! Just come check it out!"

I don't know if I should continue talking to him or not, since he's sooo cute and really fun. But I'm glad I didn't join and I'm really starting to believe this entire company is close to if not a fraud.

Here is the thing. Yor is a MLM. This doesn't mean that MLM is bad. Look at Mary Kay. It is a reputable company. But MLM is for people who want to start their own business. So it's up to you to figure out if you should join or not. I checked out yor and I really hate the sales pitch. But if you can sell, then it shouldn't be a problem. MLM is a proven technique that works if you do it right. But most of the people who practice MLM (esp at yor) is giving a really bad name b/c of their high pressure pitches and recruiting by giving false hopes. I used to be in a MLM business. When I try to recruit, I tell them the exact thing such as this is not a paid job and you won't get money unless you sell. But nowadays every MLM is being sold the wrong way and mostly target individuals who are looking for jobs. This is completely wrong. It's like preying on the weak.

I would suggest you stay away. The whole thing is of questionble legality. Better to spend time on something valid and meaningful.

Can't expect everyone to like everything. This is a free market so there are tons of other choices out there. SORRY to anyone that hasn't done the research, its always a good idea to shop around for bargain. Verizon, Tme Warner, and Vonage are just a few. Im sure there's someone out there that must be calling them frauds. 100+ for extra equipment isn't as bad as it sounds.

Yor.com is not an MLM. A MLM is driven in part by the sale of products. Yor.com thrives on the recruitment of more representatives to survive. People sell close to the bare minimum for the company to stay afloat. Does this seem right to anyone or emulate the Mary Kay business. No and no. Mary Kay actually does a large percentage of it's business selling products. Yor.com does not sell ****! Scam scam scam.

Exclamation Re: yor.com/net fraud help pls get word out

Hi everyone,

I wouldnt typically talk to a board like this unless I really felt like some people were really misinterpreting whats going on with YOR.com/Vorvoice/Yor.net.

My name is Dr. Cortez, I am 50 years old, and have been working with this company for quite some time now. I have made a great part time income in concurrence with my medical practice.

Whenever I hear about the fact that some people are negative about this company, I typically feel empathetic for for the company itself. What all of you need to understand about network marketing, any MLM company, is that they are fundamentally legal (of course, if it is MLM, with product requirements, a 2:1 product:rep ratio etc). Especially this company, which was investigated nearly 7 years ago by the FTC. The FTC does not keep companies alive that could even potentially hurt people. As most of you use this FTC investigation as some evidence against the company, did any of you really read it? The company was fined for the actions of some of the representatives, not for the actual company procedures. What this should tell all of you is that this company, or its founders even, are legitimate. Any anger, frustration, or hate toward this business are due to the business practices of certain individuals, not the company itself. In network marketing, where over 475,000 people get started daily (not in this company, but in all companies - Mark Kay, Avon, Mona Vie, Pampered Chef, Quixtar, etc), it is impossible to control the actions of every single rep. Therfore, if you feel you have been hyped, scammed, deceived, etc - it has been done by a rep, not the company.

To anyone complaining about the company, or industry, these people are simply uneducated. Every major billion dollar telecommunications and cable company are pouring millions into digital phone (Voip). AOL, Time Warner, comcast, AT&T Callvantage, Verizon, Netzero, SBC are all companies pouring money into VoIP. If youre someone that is trying to research this company - take it for face value. This companies' partnership with deltathree is fantastic. Yor.com's service, yorvoice, is comprised of Linksys hardware and the same software as Verizon. Their price is 16.67/mo with taxes included - no company that markets traditionally can compete with that.

Network marketing is the most effective form of marketing a product in the world. This is why most billion dollar companies - P&G, Coca Cola, Pepsi, etc. all of word-of-mouth divisions - it is the most effective, least costly way of marketing.

YOR.com is a VoIP MLM company. This is pairing the hottest trend in telecommunications (dont believe me, research reputable sources - not 18 year old children on the internet) with the most effective form of marketing.

If this company were illegitimate, it would be shut down. This is without question. Me? I have made an extra 1000-2000/mo simply by getting customers and building a small organization of partners to help promote the service.

If there are some reps that build this company incorrectly, that is that reps' responsibility. It is literally impossible to control everyone. The company has very strict representative conduct to make sure the company is promoted correctly, and if you have a problem with any representative, the company is open during normal business hours and you may call and complain about a representative.

Any complaints about the company itself is sort of silly, because the operations of the company itself are 100% legal, and if you build this business correctly, there is a great income opportunity. Anyone that promotes through hype, or promotes you will be wealthy overnight or get rich quick is not promoting correctly, and I as a representative of the company apologize to you for the incorrect recruiting and promotion of the business and its potential.

Noone that does MLM is full time immediately. It is meant to be a business that is built in concurrence with that you are doing - school, a career, a family, etc. I am only comfortable talking about this with all of you because this is what I have been personally taught by the founder of this company, Dennis Wong. He has never taught hype. He tells the reps exactly the way its supposed to be built - with the foundation of customers, and customer acquisition. Any hype or crazy sales techniques are NOT creation of YOR.com, but creations of representatives that aren't interested in earning their income, but are interested in getting rich quick - at the expense of others.

If anyone promotes this company, or recruits people with a different image than that, they are breaking the rules of the company. All of the things you all are complaining about are AGAINST company policy, and if people are doing it, you have the right to contact the company, give the name of the individual, and they can be terminated or placed on probation.

I say this to all of you to help you understand its not just young, angry, children building this business. All of the reps that get on here and embarass those of us building this correctly, the people that respond to all of you by saying "make money make money", people that call the people that don't do the company or are negative "bit*ches,", or "weak", or "average", or "broke" - I want you all to know that these people will be held accountable for what they are saying. This is not the image this company is trying to have. The companies customer growth right now is 200-250% growth, and this is the focal point of the business.

It is impossible to control the words and actions of all people, and to label a company a "fraud" or a "scam" simply because you heard the presentation or training of one individual, does not mean that individual is endorsed by the company.

I hope this message makes sense, especially to the people that are very negative about the business. If people come on here and respond to your complaints with attacks, I apologize to you. Those people probably are just the young people that are making no money, and are just angry. All they need to do is get some customers, and then you have real backup. That is me. I have over 75 customers, and have a small team. It has been a great supplemental income to myself and my family. As I pursue it further, it will grow for me, and I will do well. I focus on customer training, and that is how the business is supposed to be built.

Now, most people that come on here are trying to find a way to be negative. I am trying to help all of you to find a way to be logical. This company, as any MLM, can be very, very beneficial for you. This is coming from a doctor of gynecology. I have seen alot of network marketing companies in my time - from Mary kay, to Amway, to Primerica, and none have ever had the potential that this company has.

Regards,

Dr. B. Cortez
