I've been reading the posts from previous distributors. My daughter has been going to the informational meetings and yesterday was gone all day with her new "friends". I've been wary about this company and decided to do some of my own research. I too have been involved in a MLM (not YOR) and my experience was long hours, have to buy the product and have to sell your family and friends- many of the same things you all listed in your posts. I can't say I would talk bad about this other MLM. I was in direct control of my business. I still believe the other MLM was a good company. My business failed because of me. I'm just not good at sales. I'm OK with that.

With all that said, I wanted to let all of you know that YOR is now pushing really hard in the Cincinnati, OH area and once again targeting the college age group. Some are pushing their product as Organic as that is a good selling point right now. However there is no mention of Organic on the website or on any brochures. I googled some of the names in previous posts and really came up with nothing. I did look at the disclosure statement on the website and was disappointed in the median earnings $0. The average earnings was $200 something.

I will try to discourage my daughter from joining. If there is wrong-doing in this company, has anyone contacted help so that it stops happening to others? I've read numerous pages of posts and really don't see alot of solid evidence that this is a scam.

You don't see a lot of solid evidence? Then you haven't really done any research.

Thanks for that link to the statistics on MLMs. It's informative but a bit outdated so you have to imagine where the graphs are headed. They are becoming saturated with IRs and can't make any money anymore. But try not to confuse self sustaining businesses with pyramid schemes. For the inexperienced, the schemes look like an MLM but pay for recruiting and thrive on that for profit along with self-customers, frontloading, etc. as you know. Theoretical profits don't count. MLMs make their profits from sales to the general public like any successful business. The statistics also included some non-members in later years (probably pyramid schemes) which offset the profit makers so severely that the average is now a huge loss. These days it's difficult to discriminate between the two until a few days after you sign up. By then you know if you get paid to recruit, and how much emphasis is placed on it. The really scummy ones even call it marketing. They'll have recruiting events, phone calling parties, team nights out to get numbers. Yor would be the most obvious. There are others which claim high sales numbers as they make millions until you realise the IRs' houses are full of vitamins/juices and a foreclosure notice. Check off the red flags from the FTC site, do some simple math, check with someone like the BBB who've seen every scam and successful and unsuccessful business, but only an idiot lets a scammer convince them that they aren't scamming them.

Its more about the flags going up than anything. Once the warning signs are their than we should all be warry. Honos they will be their for a long time. There location change over time. All they like do is sniff each others ass. Thats jus it they re lie on exposure for attention. Most of them is jus faking it, they jus their try and shine. Many are dropouts and they live and tick together like pickcolos. The reason they save alot of money and sprit by working like that. Like alot of ppl say the'll jion for sex cause most of the girls dont touch nothing that aint yor.

Ohh so its too much aks for just the truth when signing up. Yes they say that when you tell people things like you'll have to pay, they get an entitlement. Its like when you hear a voice that tells you the right way, they will try and sell you the wrong way. Thats jus the stratagey they use.

That's funny about the organic part. Maybe they are organically grown minerals. j/k. Many people know now that the body doesn't metabolize raw vitamins. They have to be in organic matter (plant or animal cells). That may be their claim. What's disturbing about that site is that everything on it except the directions has a disclaimer. It's best to assume disclaimed claims = B.S. and only read the rest.

Yes thats why they are like parketkets when they talk. They spread the word around about how rich they are, then talk like parketkets about themselves and their leaders. Its like they can read each others minds. Like their physics or sumthing about what the future will hold. You want a piece of the 10 trillion dollar industry? It is a growing industry with 13.9billion projected in 2009 not the trillion they say. To bad the major players control most of the industry. Vonage has about 54% of the industry. US VOIP market shares: Vonage - 53.9%, Verizon - 5.5%, Callvantage - 5.5%, SunRocket - 4%, Lingo - 2.6% | IT Facts | ZDNet.com
Do any of the reps know how much their company holds?
