I leased a car from Chrysler for 3 years returned it and now I have to pay for the extra kilometers I put on it. Which is fine. It came to just over $5,400 I owe them and that's after paying an extra $400 to replace and fix the windshield. So I call Chrysler and tell them I can't afford to pay the $5,400 all at once and that I want to arrange a payment plan. So without hesitating they send me to there collection agency. Ok, if there the the ones that can set this up so I can pay monthly then great. So I call and get the reception and ask to talk to my agent. She puts me threw and I get a answering machine. I leave a message saying I want to arrange a payment plan pls call me back here is my # and then I wait 2 days. No call. I know IM supposed to start making payments by the 12 of July they sent me a letter 3 weeks ago saying I did but I wanted to talk to them about making a more affordable payment plan. Basically they wanted me to pay 1,300 a month.That is a little to much at the moment. So I call back two days later and again the receptionist sent me to there answering machine. I leave another message asking for them to call me back at this # and gave them my leasing #. I call back a couple times a week and leave a messages saying the same thing over and over. After awhile I stop leaving messages ,and as soon as the answering machine kicks in I just hang up.This go's on for 3 weeks. So finally I get ticked off and start leaving messages like " Why are you guys not calling me back !! IM trying to arrange payments, My first one was due yesterday and because no ones called me back to work out payment s its now late" " your doing this because you don't want me to lower my payments so your ignoring my calls" " if I don't get a response IM going to contact the better business bureau". So I call three times this week and leave these messages and I haven't received one call back. So today I filed a complaint with the better business bureau for discrimination and violation of my civil rights. Im in the middle of trying to figure out what the next step is, I don't want my credit to be affected. It just seems to me that as soon as I said I wanted to make payment arraignments and lower my monthly payment plan they black listed me. That's to me is a form of discrimination. At this point I really don't know what else to do. They still haven't called me back.
Any advise would be much appreciated. |

I tried calling again today and still get sent to there answering machine..I was thinking of sending an E-Mail to them asking them whats going on. I dont understand why they would be ignoring me beside the fact they dont want to lower my payments.
Should i try E-mailing them ? |
