Online Purchase
Ok Last Wednesday night I placed an order on a well known website, and thursday morning they charged my card...So I assume the item would be shipped because I am pretty sure that company's can not charge you for an item until they are ready to ship. (unless otherwise stated...EX: Half now half later kinda thing) it is now the following Thursday and I called to get a tracking number. They inform me "Your item hasnt shipped as we dont have it in Stock." Is it not against the law to charge my card when they do not have the item and then not notify me?
I live in CA and the company is in NC. Thanks for any assistance you can give me. |

No it is not illegal but if they don't ship reasonably soon or as promised when you ordered then you can void the charge--
