Default Legal recourse

AZ- I was told that my AC compressor was bad by both the maintenance tech and the service repairman who came out. The cost was $1100.00. I called another AC/heating company for second opinion and was told the unit was fine. I called the initial AC company back, and was told by the supervisor that he would investigate and refund my outer pocket expenses for second opinion. Three weeks later, nothing has happened and the company will not return any of my calls. Do I have any any legal recourse and is it possible to cancel the service agreement I have with them. I am paid up till 2012.

Default Re: Legal recourse

Based on what you say here, you could file suit against them (or at least threaten to do so) in small claims court or in regular court; filing in small claims court is easier and requires no attorney...you could try to collect all of the costs and damages that you suffered due to their behavior... You may also report them to your state attorney general's office.
