KIA Service Bullitien

I have a 2006 Kia Spectra that had a Technial Service Bullitien on tranmission. Question is should Kia disclose this problem before i bougjht it.
if so what can i do???

If it is easily repaired and they are doing so, it is not necessarily required.

Some Spectra automacic tranaxale vechicles exhibit a second to third gear upshift shock after the vehicle is at operation temperatue ,this condition has also be felt as a slip or flare followed by a shockwhile shifting from second to third.
the bullitien decribes the procedure for upgradeing the ECU software with new logic to correct the above conition

my car has this problem exactly. the dealer ship told me they preformed this procedure and i have internal problems again i would not of bought this car if they had disclose this info. i bought it with 22000 miles and had the tranmission fluid chaged at the dealership. they said at 42000 it needed fruid changed and it would fix the hard shifting. i payed for that and seemed to help but it was never smooth shifting, now at 67000 out of warranty through the tranmission shop, not dealership i find out about the techinal service bullitien
