Bank Vault

I have a vault with Wachovia Bank Florida. It is self entry. I am missing very expensive jewelry. I must have overlooked it in the private room. When I brought it to the attention of an officer, I was ridiculed in front of another customer. I told the manager, and asked her to check with cleaning staff.
I spoke to a manager of another branch, she told me to call claims dept. as it may be covered by their insurance, as someone is supposed to check the rooms after use.
Then I was phoned by a Holly Ott, who instructed me to close my account and vault, in a very intimidating way, and upset me very much. She said I had no recourse as the vault was self entry. I was never given this information, and have banked with Wachovia for years. The gate to the vault room was broken for a long time.
I am 75, and hoped to sell my jewelry to help subsidize my very low income.
