Default Warranty for broken down new electric golf trolley bought on eBay

I bought a new electric golf trolley on eBay from a british seller. I
received it in France, where I live, and I used it for 3 months, and it
broke down and fell to pieces.
The seller does not want to refund me or repair it, yet it was advertised on
eBay as new. It should therefore still be covered by the warranty.
What can I do?
Do you have a model letter that I could send (from France to Great Britain) to the seller?
Regards
