Cool Re: Complaints on "Royal Holiday Club"... Beware!!

I was scammed by royal holiday in the Bahamas. I tried everything to get out of the contract to no avail. Until.... I decided to fight fire with fire and threatened the royal holiday reps with calling the DEA to report the drug use during the sales transaction and the next day my credit card was credited back the money they took from me. There were no drugs in my case but they lied to get my money so I lied to get it back. Good luck!!!

Default Royal Holiday Club complaint

Our problems are outlined below:

Sirs,
Since July of 2006 we have been trying to settle our differences with
Royal Holiday Club. I am attaching our original complaint and am
including in this message updates and further requests.

The following points should simplify our position:

1. RHC violated their part of our agreement by not including the
"Unlimited Package" they had promised at the signing of our contract on
March 30, 2006. It took us numerous phone calls and e-mails to even get
someone at RHC to listen to our complaint.

2. Finally in February of 2007 RHC agreed to send us the
aforementioned "Unlimited Package", even though they continued to deny
that they had promised it to us at the signing of the contract for the
bronze membership. RHC e-mailed us a contract to sign at the same time
they sent the "UP" that stated that we would drop our complaint. Our
communication with them had been that we would look over the package and
decide if we wanted to remain members or not.

3. Our decision was to NOT sign the complaint dropping form and to
ask RHC for a refund of our $6500.00 for the bronze membership. This
decision was based on the fact that they were not truthful at the
signing and only convinced us to sign with the added incentive of the
"UP". Our decision was further based on the fact that a bronze
membership (the lowest level) does not avail the member of very many
vacation opportunities. We found that we could only stay 1 to 2 days at
a limited number of locations and that to convert our points to RCI was
a difficult and time consuming process. RHC's original pitch was that a
membership with them would save time and money and open up a large
variety of vacation opportunities to us. This is simply not true at the
bronze level, even with the "Unlimited Package"

4. We never activated the "Unlimited Package". We have never used
RHC services to book a vacation.

5. In May of 2007 we turned our case over to the lawyers. They
have tried numerous times to settle with RHC. Most the time your
organization does not return phone calls, e-mails or direct mail. Even
when requested in writing to speak only to the lawyers concerning
our case you called us directly and wrote to Ms. Donna Doney of the
State of Montana Consumer Protection that you had done everything
possible and considered our complaint to be satisfied. We are NOT and
have never been satisfied with your company and continue to request a
refund of our membership costs.

6. We have contacted the State of Montana, the State of Florida and
most recently Profeco in order to be heard. At this point in time we
will do the following. We will return the "Unlimited Package", and
anything else we obtained by our membership that you want. We expect a
full refund our $6500.00 and a termination of our contract and
membership with you.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Yes they are 100 percent scammers, I also came up with the number of persons reporting that they have been scammed by them. Fortunately I am not one of them. So do anyone got some compensation or everything else from them in result of their complaint???
