Wells Fargo Financial
I have a question. How would I go about sueing Wells Fargo Financial? I was ill and out of work for a year in 2007. In March of 2007, I used my vehicle for a loan from Wells Fargo Financial. The vehicle was in another State where I worked and not accessable to me when I became ill. The registration was due to expire in Mar 2007. The loan officer explained that the registration would be paid and added to the loan. I was told that Wells Fargo would contact the DMV in my home state and take care of the registration. Since I was ill and not able to travel, I agreed to that.
When I was well enough to travel back to my home, I returned home. That was in October of 2007. I discovered that I had over $4,000 in parking tickets (due to the vehicle not currently registered) and had been towed away and sold at an auction 3 weeks before I returned home. The amount received in the auction did not lower my ticket amount. They said the amount received was minimal.
I feel that if the car was not registered, it was the fault of Wells Fargo Financial. They made a promise that they did not keep. I have the loan documents to show where they will pay to have my registration updated. Needless to say, I do not have a car, I take public transportation to work.
The responsibility was theirs. They said that they would handle it.
What can I do? I want to sue them.
