Internet advertising scam?
Jan 02 agreed to invest in internet site 'affiliated' with Amazon & Ebay. Jan 09 agreed to spend $2,500 on internet advertising. Discovered my website is shared by hundreds of others, and the marketer will not permit you to see, monitor or track their advertising, but "guarantee" 10,000 visitors to your site.
On Feb 25, with no activated site and evasive answers, I had Visa charge back the amount. No contracts were furnished, but improperly worded "work orders" listing "Marketing materials" for $2,500 and "10,000 Targeted Visitors" for $0. If they are to be considered contractors, working for ME, they should be able to verify and document their activity and results. They just billed my card again. How can they charge each client for an already existing website, the only difference being your client number? They have a recording of me agreeing to the purchase. Don't I have the right to receive a copy of it? |
