Confused Carribean Jewerlers

Traded in a $10.000 ring in at a jewerlers in St Martin. Gave another $3650.00 master card.Wanted to up grade my ring. Ring they gave me was not the diamond clarity or color they said it was and the value was not what they said it was.Had ring appraised as soon as got home was apprased for $8450,00.They said it would appraise for $12,000 to $15,000. They say they want to work it out.They want me to send ring to New York to have one of their people appraise it. i just want my old ring and money make is there any thing i can do when they have a no refund policy and a no buyers remorse policy?

Based on what you say here, you could file suit against them (or at least threaten to do so) in small claims court or in regular court; filing in small claims court is easier and requires no attorney...you could try to collect all of the costs and damages that you suffered due to their behavior... You may also report them to your and the NY state attorney general's office if they jeweler has people in NY.

World Law's lawyers could also probably intervene and help resolve this if need be. You may email them on the home page.
