Recently my friend has paid a deposit of 2000sgd for a 10day tour package for 3 to Lhasa Tibet. The usual tour contract was signed.
Unfortunately with the current crisis in Lhasa, we are reluctant to go. We have already informed the agency, but now the agency is still planning ahead with the tour and refused to return the deposit money. What legal action can he take? How do we recover the deposit money? Thanks in advance |

You could argue it is too dangerous now and based on what you say here, you could file suit against them (or at least threaten to do so) in small claims type court or in regular court; filing in small claims court is easier and requires no attorney...
