I purchased this warranty two years ago, only used it once (last summer). The repairs came to $1100. Ultimate warranty company approved the claim. The repairs were then made and we got the car back. Months later, the repair shop contact me stating that the warranty company has gone bankrupt and won't pay for my repairs. The car repair shop is now demanding that I pay the $1100 since Ultimate can't. The dealership that originally sold me the warranty won't make good on it.
Am I stuck paying for it? |

You cold try to argue that you relied on the company to check with UW--they did and informed you it was okay so they should be liable.
But check what you signed as it may say that you must pay if the warranty company cannot or will not--that would make your case a bit tougher. |
