The short and sweet version. I purchased a used, "low-mileage" motorcycle ($12,000 BMW) from a Honda dealer in November. It's winter here in Ontario so I haven't driven it. While performing routine winter maintenance I discovered two badly damaged camshaft bearings. Dealer claims normal wear and tear. I claim impending catastrophic failure. Asked for my money back - he says no way. What recourse do I have?
Thanks, Sick-to-my-stomach Mike in St. Catharines |

Normally they will fix it and take it back if the defect is reported immediately--see similar posts and stories in this forum,
but if time has passed you unfortunately will likely not have an easy time in or out of court to hold them liable or accountable... |
