Ohio After filing banckruptcy can I get an emergency credit card for things like
repairing a furnace in winter, eyeglasses, broken dentures, doctor bills or medicine? I would be able to make small payments as I do now with one credit card I use just for emergencies like that. I havent filed bankruptcy yet because I am afraid I wont be able to get emegency help if I do. I am 65 and dont have any money except mu social security check and no relatives or friends to borrow from. These debts are old, 1994 and 1996 when my ex husband made me sign for them. They havent been paid on since and the SOL still has 4 or 6 years yet to go. Credit agencies are making threats to take my one half share of the house I live in as joint ownershio to foreclosure, My payment is cheaper than any rent would be Please help, as my main concern is not to lose my house. so if I could have one credit card for emergencies I would file for banruptcy. |
