Am I protected?

My daughter filed chap. 13 and started in a payment plan in NY state.  She converted to a chap. 7 and added a schedule of post petition debt.  The Motion to convert to chap. 7 was entered in May of 07. She was granted a "Discharge of Debtor" on 8/30/07.Credit One Bank was listed on the post petition paperwork that was filed in U.S Bankruptcy Court, they said they never got notice of her bankrpty. and charged-off her credit card account on 12/07, then sold the account to CACH on 1/08.  Now CACH has hired the Law offices of Scott Lowery to collect this debt.  She has 30 days to respond to the law office regarding this debt.Obviously, Credit One should not have charged-off the account or sold it.  My daughter called Credit One and they said there was nothing they could do and stated that they never received the bankrpty. info.What should she do first?  Is she protected from collections.  She has all the legal paperwork.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The trustee should be contacted. If the notice was sent to them under his and the court's records they will have to cease or risk acting illegally.
