Unhappy bankruptcy

my ex boyfriend said he would pay my credit cards until i could get on my feet like finding a job etc, but he didn't pay them at all. So now i have to file for bankrupty, i was wondering if i file will that bankrupty hurt my chances in getting loans for college? thanks for the help

My girl friend filed chap 7 and has been appoved and cleared. She has a 2005 motor bike that was included in the fileing.Is she intitled to the title of the bike.They never came and got it.
