Hello,
I live in Houston, Texas. I am 70 years old and my adult son who is disabled lives with me. I own a condominium and am the sole owner with no mortgage or other lien except that of normal HOA dues. I want to add my son to my deed as a Joint Tenant w/ Survivorship rights. I have been searching through the internet for the correct form to execute this, but I can't tell if I need to use the Quitclaim form or a regular Warranty Deed form. I have little money and my son is also on a fixed income as well. We both qualify for legal aid and have indeed requested help from LoneStar Legal aid, but they never called us back after confirming that we qualify...twice on the phone. From looking online this should not be a difficult procedure, but I need help just the same. Referal to a decent low cost lawyer would be helpful in lieu of help here. Thank you |
