Confused HOA board resolution wording

In a HOA Board Resolution we are trying to draft a statement that we will
comply with applicable law where it conflicts or supersedes (which, or what,
is correct word) our governing documents. In some cases we have tighter
restrictions which are not specifically prohibited in the law.Would the
right word allow that?
