I have had several sets of hair extensions in for two years.
I had them put in after a disasterous haircut, so that my hair would grow whilst I had the extensions in. I was assured that the extensions would not damage my hair (but would in fact protect it). The company is reputable, it is Racoon International. However, I have had my latest extensions taken out, as I thought my hair would be at a nice length now. My once beautiful thick hair is totally ruined. It is so thin, chunks are missing, and what\'s left of it is dry and frizzy. It is horrific, and I don\'t know what to do. Can you please advise if I have any legal grounds to sue the company, especially given their promise that my hair would be protected, and definitely not ruined by extensions. |

Based on what you say here, you could file suit against them (or at least threaten to do so) in small claims court -- you could try to collect all of the costs and damages that you suffered...or they may then offer to help you repair it or take other helpful action.

You would have to prove that it is the product and not the person who put the extension in.
