Angry Liability

LIABILITY

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I bought a used tire for my vehicle 3 months ago and the tread seperated while driving on the turnpike and caused major damage to my vehicle. The tire dealer where I bought the tire states in writing on the receipt (6 month warranty, no refunds store credit only). My question is can the tire dealer be held liable for the extensive damages to my vehicle? Any help would be greatly appreciated

As to payments to you and the lawyer, it is up to you what you agree to.

Your insurance should still pay you, but some of the funds agreed may be to pay the insurer--your lawyer has to carefully review that with you.
