The electricity lines in my area are obscured, pulled down and overgrown with vines and brush. In many areas you cannot visualize any lines at all. Two months ago my son and only child (27 y/o) was electrocuted by one of these power lines. It appears as if he cut a live wire. Whether by accident or intent I'll never know. My question is this ; Can the power company be held liable for negligence or in any way responsible for his death? If those lines were visable and not hidden in vines and brush he could not have done this. I am devastated, and angry that the power company cut and cleared completely this area starting immediately upon his death. Please advise.

It is certainly possible you have a case based on what you say here; you should take a brief description of these events as well as the medical and other records to an injury attorney and see if the attorney thinks you have a claim; often you need to contact several attorneys to find one to take the case; the review of your case and records is often free and then they will normally take the case on a contingency fee basis if they think you can win; you would pay only if they collect for you...
