Samsung Gravity cell phone poor battery life

I have had my Samsung Gravity for about 6 mounths. I havent had problems with it until this week. I charge it all night and the batterey only lasts about 4 hours. And I dont use my phone constantly. Maybe a couple of times an hour. So I dont understand why it just dies. It stays with one bar for about 2 hours before it dies. But the batterey should last longer. It sucks. I love my phone but the batterey is the worst. Andd my mom wint let me get a new phone until my contract isnt up for like 15 mounths. I guess i will have to live with it. They should refund everyone their money. Or give everyone a free extra batterey. Or a better one at that. I hate this batterey but i love my phone.

I got it for my birthday it the battery life is really good for me

I would charge it like fully (apprx. 1hr- 1hr 1/2) and then it would be good for the whole day + half a day or more
Then I would charge it again that night

DONT FRET the new gravity 2 defintly has more battery life since many complained to samsung.

I had same prob...I removed mt micro sd memory card an boom Problem solved!!!!!!

It seems as if it was having trouble loading my media on the memory card. I could not find an option to browse through my memory card for pics, music, video etc...But when I removed the micro sd the phone prompted "memory card removed" however when I inserted it never alerted that It did so...It seems as if the phone was in constant memory card search state and thus drained the battery. Good luck
