Thumbs Up Provigil and Attempted Murder.

2000- My Mother is prescribed Provigil, by the manufacturer Cephalon. It is used for narcolepsy, and is designed to keep the user awake. The average time you are supposed to be prescribed this medication is 8-12 weeks, at the most. My Mother was on it for 5 years!

2005- Psychiatric problems begin to evolve, aswell as her addiction to it. She began having hallucinations and became suicidal. She was paranoid and never slept. Then, the day after Christmas, she tried to murder me because she thought I was possessed. I was thirteen at the time.

The FDA hadnt put out any warning that the medication caused any psychiatric side effects, just a rash. However, Cephalon hadn't even looked into the drug. All they were interested in was sales.

In 2007, the FDA announced that it was a Schedule 4 drug, and had multiple psychiatric effects.

Many doctors say they would never prescribe this med, and I want to sue Cephalon.

Do I have a chance?

Yes it is possible. Try to review this with several lawyers that deal with such cases. They will sue on a contingency basis in these types of cases, if they feel there is a good case.

Sue them for what? Your mom being a paranoid schizophrenic? Tell your mom to get on her real meds instead of stay-awake drugs.

And if she tried to "murder" you, she apparently failed. Don't blame the drug companies because your mom is a closet schizophrenic you arrogant little child.

Follow the press and medical studies.

It just may be that there were complications with the drug. And if so you may have a right to some kind of legal action.

There are three key reasons why this isn't gonna happen.

1. It's the drug of choice for working professionals (doctors, lawyers, pharmacists). They aren't gonna help you ruin the fun for themselves.

2. Your statements don't prove ****. You can't just pull conclusions like that out of your ass. It's really unhealthy. Apparently you take after your mom.

3. You're an idiot with an entitlement complex.

I take Provigil for narcolespy and sleep apnea. Without it, I can fall asleep at the wheel of a car in traffic. I was disabled with exhaustion and could not stay awake through the work day prior to having two sleep studies and being prescribed Provigil. I have had no negative symptoms from this drug. I have been taking it for at least 7 years. It sounds like your mother may be bi-polar or worse and should have never been on this drug. It would be extremely unfair to cause harm to many people who need this drug due to narcolepsy and sleep apnea because you believe your mother became a murderer on it. Unless she had the two problems that the drug is prescribed for, she should have never been placed on the drug.

Default Water pipes

I am thinking about buying some wholesale water pipes from this company in China (www.liangdianup.com/tobacciana)
but I am not sure if they are legal to bring in to the states? What are the laws on water pipes, bongs, and pipes?

Can you prove it because of Provigil?

It is very hard to prove that provigil is the reason for your mum's health getting worse.
I would recommend to to try maybe different narcolepsy products like flexeril, or maybe even getting something stronger.
Your mother should definitely got to a therapist!
