Default Victoria's Secret bra and breast irritation class action -- what next

Is anything safe?

Tests have revealed that some Victoria's Secret bras may contain the chemical formaldehyde. Formaldehyde is used in the textile industry to make fabrics crease-resistant. If you have suffered a skin rash or other problem from a Victoria's Secret bra, it is likely that you may have an allergic reaction to formaldehyde.

You may be a victim of this allergic reaction if you experienced any of the following symptoms in places where your skin made contact with your Victoria's Secret bra:

Eczema type lesions at the site of intimate contact with clothing.
In the preliminary stages, this allergy can appear as itchy, red, fluid filled pimples, which gradually become chronic and lichen like if not diagnosed and treated quickly.
Presence of red, macerated skin on the waistband area. This rash can become secondarily infected with bacterial organisms in hot, humid environments.

Itching at the site of contact.
In some extreme cases, people allergic to formaldehyde in clothing may experience itching and tearing eyes and, shortness of breath.
