I took Mirapex for almost 2 years before I learned that my obsessive shopping was due to Mirapex. I need help. I've bought almost $100,000 of worthless stuff and have the bills to show for it. I never did that before I took Mirapex. I stopped taking it when my husband saw it in the newspaper.

Oke,
I, too, never had a 'compulsive' bone in my body, until i started Mirapex. Then, I began to gamble away and I know of at least $80,000 that I've lost and likely more. My neuro has tried several other medications and medications, but none control m Restless Leg Syndrome as well as Mirapex. I believe the recommended initial dose for Mirapex (in RLS) is 0.1255 mg and increasing slowly until controloover RLS is estabished. My control wasn't establihed until I reached 1.5 mg q day; 12 times the recommended starting dose. I have alll the other side e-ffect that go along with Mirapex and was wondering how I become involved in 'class action' suiit or retain m own priivate atty. What do you see as the pros and cons of each?'' Thank you. Annie |
