In the recent GMAC // Scoretop controversy GMAC has cancelled my GMAT scores.

Can I sue them for that or take some kind of action? I never cheated in any way.

[At the computer terminal itself, the test-taker must agree to a second, more detailed nondisclosure agreement. And in the 2008 GMAT Bulletin, GMAC reserves the right to cancel scores for any misconduct, including mere access to test content prior to the test, "even if a specific examinee's actual access to disclosed test content cannot be confirmed by GMAC." ]

But since the test is basically a monopoly and required gateway to B-school, I think that that part of the agreement or contract may not be strictly enforceable.

Harvard, MIT and Yale were unaffected by the investigation, Stanford, with 11 cancelled test scores, tops the list of impacted institutions.
