Default Re: Northern Leasing Systems fraud case

they did the same thing to me. we were being charged for two parallel services while we were only using one and we were paying for that service on time. they did not inform us about the other service and started charging for both without our notice. even the agreement, for the ohter srvice was not signed by me but has a signature as mine. probably they signed by their own. I would like to join your any suit against them.

Send a letter to the Attorney General of Texas at PO Box 12548, Austin, TX 78711-2548. Or file a complaint on the website at:

Texas Attorney General

The more Texans who complain, the better chances the Attorney General will look into this company.

Default Re: I won my battle with them

I just won a battle with Northern Leasing! They forged my initials on my lease, they told me it was a 4 year term (yet could not produce a clear copy of the lease term, my copy was blank). I closed the bank account so they could not debit anymore money,I filed a complaint with the NY BBB. I threatened them with a forgery suit and also file a fraud complaint with the U.S Post Office. I just got a letter yesterday from Northern Leasing confirming the closing of the lease agreement and letting me know where to send the equipment back. Be persistent people, write letters, complain and even threaten them with the facts, it really works!

We are yet another small business that has fallen into the scam of Northern Leasing Systems contract through the third party of Radius Financial Services another company you want to stay as far away from as possible! They are based out of California.

We unknowing signed the lease with Northern Leasing Systems when we filled out the faxed paper work from Radius Financial Services the small print was broken and unreadable pertaining to Northern Leasing Systems.

Radius Financial Services advertises a free terminal when you sign with them which is part of their bait and switch tactic. I kept telling myself the old adage nothing is free and if it sounds to good to be true it probably is, boy I should have listened to myself.

We have terminated our contract with Radius Financial Services but now find ourselves dealing with the rude customer service of Northern Leasing Systems telling us we signed a contract that is non cancelable lease.

I have read all the complaints and law suits against Northern Leasing Systems for their practices and that they were found guilty of fraud in May of 2008.

Who should we contact first to find help to be released from them and stop them from continuing to take money out of our bank account?

We are in Fairbanks, Alaska

Default Re: Northern Leasing Systems fraud case

I just completed a costly four year lease. Their fraud is in more areas than you realize. They took my lease payment out of my checking account for four years. My lease ended in April, they took another payment in May. They have been giving me the run-around for three months. My money is still in their pocket. I reported them to the NY BBB. The company responded with a letter and a copy of a check in my name sent to APO, AE (Arab Emirates)...never been there. I feel this is just another put off to make the BBB think they responded. I have been hung up on, calls not returned and left on hold. Great customer service!!!

My question is how many other people had money taken from their account without authorization and either did nothing because it wasn't worth the hassle for $59 or didn't notice they had taken money from their account?. My money is earning interest for them. Just another company that is allowed to continue doing business and raking small businesses over the coals. I hope the CEO's, VP and all their associates sleep well at night.

Hello. I was served with papers on August 8, 2008 that said that I was being sued by Northern Leasing Systems and that the suit was filed in NYC and on July 8, 2008 and that I had 30 days "after proof of service" to appear IN NYC and refute. Of course, living 7 hours away from NYC and receiving the notice on Day 31 (August 8th) after it says it was filed in NY COunty, NYC, I could not do anything... Or can I srgue I was not given a fair chance, unless I am reading the notice incorrectly? DOes "proof of service thereof" mean 30 days after I found the letter taped to my door, which was August 8th, or does it mean 30 days after July 8th (when it was FILED in NY County Court, NYC)? Of course again, if it was the latter, I was not notified until day 31 and should have reason to have the suit thrown-out. Feedback?

My story briefly is that I had leased one of their terminals (overpriced as I have come to find) and paid what I could until I was forced to close my business. I am now being sued for $650 plus $130 court/attorney fees. Northern Leasing is represented by Joseph Sussman. I did sign an agreement but told Northern Leasing I could not pay. I am also unsure if any extra pages were added after the fact than those that I saw. I can say that the last page of the summons had a copy of a page supposedly from the lease agreement and it was signed by someone but 4 days after I had signed the lease. At the top it read: "Dealer's Bill of Sale" and supposedly the guy who signed (?? Illegible) was the equipment owner (??).

If I could, I would just pay these guys to get them off my back but then I do not know if I am at least entitled to ownership of the terminal? Does anyone know or have any useful feedback, based-on similar experiences?

Thank you very much.

Sincerely,
Dan, Pennsylvania
