Poor being sued
I am a single mother of 3 with NOTHING, barely getting by and so far below
poverty level we are lucky to eat...LVNV Funding obtained a debt I had with Sears from 6 years ago and has filed a law suit to collect $1,718.90 from me....The merchandise was a big screen TV that my ex wanted and had promised he would pay for if I would get it on my Sears card...trusting idiot I am I did this for him... he kept everything and threw me and my kids out in the streets (I was literally homeless)with nothing and I have been trying to rebuild my life ever since. With the help from state programs...we are surviving ......a pretrial conference is scheduled for 4/4/08 @ 11:30am... I will go to court accept whatever judgement they pass but I still won't be able to pay it, what will happen??? What can I do??? |

They may have a hard time collecting even if they win... |
