i want to know if a subpeona served on me for an arbitration hearing involving a case between my former employer and a customer is legally binding?

A legally valid subpoena issued within your state and close by to your home normally is binding. But lawyers issue invalid subpoenas often so get further input and have the document reviewed if the issue is critical to you.
