shafted
ex boyfriend borrowed money and signed a statement stating his intention to repay $6500. After more than 6 months I have yet to see a dime and to top it all off he took my car which he knew was parked and had no insurance on it and let his 19 year old unliscensed son drive. His son wrecked the car and it was a total loss. He managed to take out three other cars in the process. How do I go about getting my money back now and can I sue him and his son for distruction of personal property. How much can I sue them for?
Thanks for any and all help. Last edited by up the creek : 11-20-2006 at 01:52 AM. |

Yes file in small claims for the amounts due--you will prevail easily we would assume.
